Father John Misty Announces New Album ‘Chloë And The Next 20th Century’

0

Father John Misty will release new album ‘Chloë And The Next 20th Century’ on April 8th.

The songwriter’s last full studio album ‘God’s Favorite Customer’ came in 2018, while a Bandcamp-only live document followed.

Stirring back into life, Father John Misty will release a new album this Spring, produced alongside longtime collaborator Jonathan Wilson.

Out on April 8th via Bella Union (and Sub Pop worldwide), the expanded edition of the album features Lana Del Rey covering Misty’s song ‘Buddy’s Rendezvous’.

Gorgeous new song ‘Funny Girl’ is online now, and it’s sheer Father John Misty – tender, open, and just a touch ironic, the word play is matched to a clipped, neo-classic vocal.

Tune in now.
