Stem has promoted two-year team member (and former Primary Wave exec) Seth Faber to VP of artist and label strategy.

Additionally, the distribution and payments platform has elevated former Big Hype higher-up Kylie Everitt to artist and label strategy manager and brought on Epic Records vet Vivian Yohannes as director of artist and label strategy for hip-hop and R&B.

BRIT Trust

The BRIT Trust has tapped Google music attorney Mulika Sannie to serve as its first deputy chair.

AFM Local 47

Longtime professional violinist Marc Sazer has been elected vice president of the American Federation of Musicians Local 47.

Music Health Alliance

Nashville’s Music Health Alliance has hired Decca and Atlantic veteran Laura Flagler Crowell as executive administrator to the CEO, besides promoting fellow Decca alumnus Shelia Shipley Biddy to CFO and Georgia native Nikki Black to VP of programs and policy.

See Tickets North America has made three promotions, elevating former Azoff Music Management manager Steve Oberman to EVP and head of music, former Daniel K Presents concert promoter Daniel Spicka to EVP of venue partnerships, and four-year company vet Phil Lawrence to VP of festival partnerships.

The Vivendi subsidiary has also enlisted former Eventbrite higher-up Steo Britton and former Front Gate Tickets client operations manager Allison Leidy to serve as account managers.

Longtime Viacom vice president Stacey Dansky is now the ARA’s executive director.

Alibi Music VP of publishing Jonathan D. Haskell has joined the board of directors for the Association of Independent Music Publishers’ Los Angeles chapter, and Concord SVP of sync Brooke Primont has joined the New York chapter’s board.

Both will be up for a full term during AIMP’s November election.

The Worldwide Independent Network has selected Australian Independent Record Labels Association CEO Maria Amato to chair its 2022 board.

Said board has likewise added directors Jeffrey Chiang (Fluxus’ international relations and global marketing professional), Paul Pacifico (the Association of Independent Music’s CEO), and Sandra Rodrigues (ABMI’s general director).

Warner Records

Warner Records has hired two-decade Universal Music exec Josh Remsberg as SVP of commercial revenue.

Downtown

Downtown Music has upped Claire Jacobs, formerly a legal exec at its FUGA subsidiary, to VP of international legal and business affairs. Plus, Downtown counsel Amber Charania has been promoted to director of legal and business affairs.

YMU

Artist-management firm YMU has hired seven-year CAA agent Brad Pophal as head of Web3 and NFT for US music.

Audio Up

Audio Up has hired Warner Records vet PJ Bloom as co-president of music and former Island Records SVP of brand partnerships Christine Kauffman as EVP of brand strategy and partnerships.

Purplebeat Music

Nashville-based publisher Purplebeat Music has appointed five-year employees Eric Daigle and Andy Friday co-heads of creative.

Various Artists

London-based Various Artists Management has announced plans to open a new office in Los Angeles.

Anthem

Nick Di Fruscia (formerly the Recording Academy’s director of awards) is Anthem Entertainment’s new director of sync and licensing, and Angela Persaud (previously an HR manager at BlackRock) has joined the company as global head of people and culture.

BMG

BMG has tasked 10-year team member Allegra Willis Knerr with leading its global sync licensing division.
