Ten months after releasing his sophomore album, Beloved, Givēon is back with the deluxe edition, Beloved: Act II.
The expanded set includes five additional tracks, bringing the project’s total to 19. The opener, “Jezebel,” is an instant standout that feels like a descendant of The Gap Band’s “Outstanding” and Frankie Beverly’s “We Are The One.” It feels good and timely for the summer weather, where the two-step is rampant.
The rest of the new tracks feature collaborations with Kehlani (“Save Some For Me”), Leon Thomas (“Fool Me Once”), Sasha Keable (“Replica”) and Teddy Swims (“Keeper”). Givēon previously joined forces with the latter singer on “Are You Even Real” from I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 2).
On “Save Some For Me,” Givēon and Kehlani trade verses that plead with a romantic interest to give them the chance to love them the way they deserve. “Oh, you can always count on me / Want you and all you rin betweens / I’ll be the one you can come and run to / Are you gon’ save some for me?” they harmonize in the chorus.
The standard version of the album was released July 15, 2025, via Not So Fast/Epic Records. “Beloved is a complete encapsulation of the very transformative growth I experienced over the past three years,” said Givēon. “My trials and tribulations, the good and the bad, all helped form this album. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed creating.”

Beloved was preceded by the singles “Twenties” and “Rather Be.” Speaking on the former track, Givēon noted, “This story perfectly encapsulates the experience of investing your most precious years into love. But unfortunately, a love that expires.”
Beloved, the follow-up to 2022’s Give or Take, debuted at No. 2 on Billboard’s Top R&B Albums chart and No. 8 on the Billboard 200.
At the 68th Grammy Awards, Beloved was nominated for Best R&B Album, which ultimately went to Thomas’ Mutt.
Beloved was ranked among Rated R&B’s 25 Best R&B Albums of 2025 list. Edward Dave, wrote, “The singer deftly glides through somber machinations of the heart with an innate sense of confidence.”
