In this new entry in our ‘Diamonds In The Rough’ category, we would like to introduce you to artist Pops Conerly and his brand new single titled “Miracles” (Remix).
Veteran singer, songwriter, producer, and ordained minister Pops Conerly returns with an inspiring new release, “Miracles” (Remix), available now. Blending Contemporary Gospel, Soul, and R&B, the uplifting single delivers a heartfelt message of faith, perseverance, and the extraordinary power of hope.
For Pops Conerly, “Miracles (Remix)” is more than just a song; it is a personal testimony. The track was inspired by his own life-changing experience following emergency surgery, a moment he firmly believes was marked by divine intervention. Motivated by gratitude and faith, Conerly wrote the original song in less than 30 minutes, channeling his emotions into a powerful declaration that miracles are real and can happen to anyone.
“Miracles can happen no matter who you are or where you come from,” says Conerly. “This song is about believing that there is always hope, even in the darkest moments.”
Built upon a foundation of heartfelt gospel lyrics, “Miracles (Remix)” combines smooth R&B grooves with soulful melodies, creating a sound that feels both timeless and contemporary. The remix elevates the original version through enhanced guitar and piano arrangements, while a deeper bass line adds warmth and richness to the production. Recorded and produced entirely by Conerly at his Pro-Tools home studio, where he has honed his craft for more than 15 years, the track began as a simple piano and bass demo before being expanded through collaborations with additional musicians.
The release adds another remarkable chapter to a music career spanning more than six decades. Pops Conerly first gained attention at just 17 years old after presenting a demo at Houston’s legendary Duke-Peacock Studio. The opportunity led to a staff writer and recording contract with influential music executive Don Robey, resulting in recordings such as “A Whole Lot of Soul Is Gone” and “Little Girls Go Home”. Conerly also penned the Billboard-charting hit “I Won’t Let That Chump Break Your Heart” for Carl Carlton, before continuing his journey with Eve-Jim Records and Malaco Music.
Never content to stop learning, Conerly earned an Associate of Science degree in Music Production in 2018, further strengthening his already impressive musical foundation. Today, he leads his own independent label, Rob-K Music, while continuing to create music that inspires listeners around the world.
Drawing influence from legendary artists including Bobby Womack, Bobby Bland, and Sam Cooke, Pops Conerly brings a lifetime of musical experience to “Miracles” (Remix). The result is a song that speaks to the soul, offering encouragement, faith, and a reminder that even in life’s greatest challenges, miracles are possible.
With its authentic message and timeless blend of Gospel, Soul, and R&B, “Miracles” (Remix) stands as a powerful testament to resilience, gratitude, and unwavering belief.
