Marcellus Wiley’s legal situation spirals as his wife files for divorce, alleging years of rape, abuse, and financial control in court documents.
Marcellus Wiley just got hit with the kind of legal nightmare that will not get better with time.
His wife, Annemarie, filed for divorce and a restraining order after his July 4 arrest on domestic battery charges, and the allegations she’s laying out in court documents are severe.
According to her declaration, she’s describing a pattern of abuse spanning over a decade, with claims ranging from physical violence to sexual assault.
The former NFL Pro Bowler and sports broadcaster was arrested in Orange County, Florida, over the Fourth of July weekend after Annemarie reported an incident at a hotel.
He initially remained in custody without bond, but according to TMZ, he’s since been released after posting a $1,000 bond.
That release marks a significant development in what’s become a rapidly escalating legal situation for the 51-year-old.
In her court filing, Annemarie detailed allegations that stretch back years.
She claims he raped her in 2012 while intoxicated and attempted to sleep with two of her friends that same year.
She alleges he punched her in the face in 2014, giving her a black eye, and threw a Coca-Cola bottle at her head in 2019 when she was nine months pregnant.
More recent incidents include what she describes as his striking her face with his shoes in August 2025.
The most serious allegations involve January 2026, when Annemarie claims he dragged her from bed, hit her on the head, and raped her twice that same day.
She says he raped her again two days later. In her declaration, she stated that he told her, “I was his property and that I had to do what he said.”
She’s also claiming he borrowed $100,000 from her without repayment and ran up her credit card to $100,000.
Annemarie is seeking custody of their three children, a 100-yard restraining order keeping him away from her, exclusive use of their Los Angeles home, and spousal support.
A Florida judge has already entered a no-contact order preventing Marcellus from contacting her.
