David Pajo will join Gang of Four on a series of North American shows.
The newly announced dates from the post-punk legends will feature the esteemed guitarist, lauded for his work with Slint (and beyond).
The run of concerts will be in support of the band’s ’77-81′ box set, with the setlist drawing on songs from that era.
Kicking off in March 2022, the line up features founders Jon King and Hugo Burnham; bass player Dave Allen has declined citing personal reasons, although he “remains an essential and vital part of the band…”
1980s-era bassist Sara Lee returns to the fold, with David Pajo taking up the role forged by the late Andy Gill, who died in 2020.
The guitarist sadly passed away last year with Gang of Four issuing two EPs featuring some of his final recordings.
