Jarvis Cocker To Release Companion Album To Wes Anderson’s The French Dispatch

0

Jarvis Cocker has laid out plans for ‘Chansons d’Ennui Tip-Top’ – a companion album to Wes Anderson’s film The French Dispatch.

The new film arrives with a great deal of speculation, with Wes Anderson once more assembling a glittering ensemble cast.

With everyone from Timothée Chalamet to Adrien Brody, Owen Wilson to Tilda Swinton, Bill Murray to Willem Dafoe taking part, it’s a blockbuster affair.

Jarvis Cocker’s version of Christophe’s ‘Aline’ featured in the first trailer, with the songwriter now confirming plans for a full album.

A companion to the film, ‘Chansons d’Ennui Tip-Top’ seems to exist outside Alexandre Desplat’s original score.

A series of French language covers, it’s out on October 22nd.
