Summer Walker dropped her second solo album on Friday – with some harsh words about the credits.

Still Over It credits her ex-partner London On Da Track with writing and producing. However, the singer says he didn’t write or produce much at all.

“He didn’t WRITE sh*t and he didn’t PRODUCE sh*t either. He just handpicked the n**gas he wanted to do all the work and attached his name to it while he was out screwin’ hoes while I was pregnant,” the singer writes on Instagram. “The most he did was sprinkle a wind chime effect on a song that was already done then put his name on it.”

“The last album he actually did the work, and it was a great project. He super talented, but for this album, lol no sir, but I guess the city boys is up, taking credit for ish you ain’t do and not actually having to take care of the kids you made. Lol ima go back to minding my business, this just triggered the hell out of me.”

Summer Walker’s comments came in response to a post about London On Da Track getting paid for an album that disses him. “London On Da Track the first n**ga in history to get paid off his own diss album,” the tweet reads. Apparently that was enough to get the singer to weigh in on the situation.

Summer Walker and London On Da Track had a baby girl in March 2021. The album Walker refers to in her rant is her debut album Over It, which London On Da Track executive produced in 2019. Her latest album features guest appearances from other rappers like Cardi B, City Girls’ JT, SZA, Ari Lennox, Lil Durk, Pharrell, Omarion and Ciara.

London found early success as a trap beat-maker for Gucci Mane, Young Thug, and T.I. But his work with Summer Walker has been the most high-profile of his career, scoring him a placement on Ariana Grande’s single, “Positions.” London dated Walker for a brief period, but Still Over It is an album about refusing to be mistreated.
