Black Oxygen is no strangers to the music business, in fact if you are just hearing about them now since their latest single “Rolling Stone” hit #1 on the Apple Music Pop Chart here is a little knowledge folks. They have been in this industry the last decade building their fanbase from the ground up. This story is a truly remarkable one too. Two brothers, one dream and an insane grind to make their goals a reality. Their career started in the midwest in Kansas City. After winning a battle of the bands in first place, Jamie Foxx’s production team witnessed the Lyle brothers raw real talent and brought them out to the LA music scene. Then years later while performing at the world famous Whisky a Go Go Shifty Shellshock of Crazy Town enjoyed their energetic live stage performance and invited them to join him on a re-make of the iconic hit “Butterfly”.
The group then signed a deal with Warner Music Group in 2024 and has since toured globally, in the US, Canada, UK and developed a die hard fanbase. Get this they are also masterclass entrepreneurs too, let alone chart topping hits, they also have an award winning “Bangin’ BBQ Sauce” that is in stores across the country, a merchandise line with Jack Ass star Bam Margera, also a podcast “The Inspiration Experience” with many icons that have appeared such as Danny Trejo, Taryn Manning and more. This brings us to today. Their New Single “Rolling Stone” came out with a smash hitting #1 on the Apple Music pop chart, major billboards up across the country and they did a live in studio world premiere at K104 FM in Dallas, TX. The hook is no doubt extremely catchy, these brothers write, produce, record and perform all the instruments on their recordings which is insanely impressive.
The song truly speaks volumes lyrically, it covers their journey, the hustle and where they came from staying humble and true to their hometown Kansas City roots but the video visually shows you a beautiful behind the scenes glimpse in their magical Los Angeles rock star lives now. Rolling Stone is a timeless track to open up many more doors to come for Black Oxygen. David and Nick Lyle have certainly each earned their kings chair at the table for Black Oxygen in the music business.
