Kodak Black’s ex faces serious drug charges as bodycam footage captures her arrest during a high-speed chase in Fort Lauderdale.
Kodak Black and his circle are catching heat from law enforcement on multiple fronts, with newly released bodycam footage showing the arrest of the mother of one of his children on serious drug charges.
The video captures the moment Jammiah Broomfield, 28, got taken into custody after fleeing from Fort Lauderdale detectives in a black Tesla during an April 2026 traffic stop.
According to the footage, she bolted from the vehicle and ran before officers tackled her to the ground and placed her in handcuffs.

Breomfield was facing charges for trafficking methamphetamine, resisting an officer without violence, and driving with a suspended license, according to NBC Miami.
Inside the Tesla, cops found a baggie containing 29.5 grams of crystal methamphetamine and $1,010 in cash that investigators said was consistent with street-level drug sales.
When questioned about the drugs, Broomfield told officers she’d picked up the meth for her boyfriend, but that explanation didn’t hold up under scrutiny.
She’s also a rapper herself and shares a son with Kodak Black, which connects her directly to the South Florida music scene.
The timing of her arrest is particularly significant because Kodak Black himself got arrested just weeks later on his own drug trafficking charges.
In May 2026, the rapper was taken into custody in Orange County on suspicion of trafficking MDMA after a November 2025 investigation near Children’s Safety Village in Orlando.
Authorities found approximately 25 grams of ecstasy, roughly $37,000 in cash, and firearms inside a Lamborghini SUV at the scene. His attorney claims there were discrepancies in how the investigation was conducted and that social media photos don’t prove ownership of the items found.
This arrest continues a troubling pattern for Kodak Black since Trump commuted his 2021 firearms sentence.
In July 2022, he was pulled over and found with 31 oxycodone pills and nearly $75,000 in cash. Then in December 2023, he was discovered asleep at the wheel of his Bentley with what police initially thought was cocaine but later tested as ground-up Oxycontin.
He’d also tested positive for fentanyl in March 2023 while awaiting trial on other charges. The legal issues keep stacking up.
What makes this situation even more complex is that both Broomfield and Kodak are now facing serious federal drug trafficking allegations simultaneously, creating a tangled web of legal problems for people connected to the same circle.
Kodak’s attorney says the arrest was a coordinated surrender stemming from evidence found during a separate search where police discovered prescription cough syrup with the rapper’s fingerprint on it.
