Diddy’s former bodyguard Roger Bonds just confirmed what Sarah Ferguson’s team denied, and now her reputation’s taking another hit.
Sarah Ferguson has a reputation problem that just got exponentially worse, and it’s all because Diddy’s former security chief went on record about what really happened between the royal and the rapper.
Roger Bonds, who spent roughly a decade protecting Diddy, sat down for an interview on Australia’s Spotlight program and confirmed the core of historian Andrew Lownie’s controversial claims about Ferguson and the music mogul’s relationship.
Bonds didn’t hold back when asked directly about their connection, saying “I just heard him say they were friends and then he gave me a smirk and, you know, I kind of know what the smirk means.”
That smirk, according to Bonds, meant everything.

The accusation itself originated in Lownie’s biography “Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York,” which detailed Ferguson’s alleged “friends with benefits” arrangement with Diddy starting in 2004 after they met at a New York party thrown by Ghislaine Maxwell in 2002.
Lownie claimed they met in luxury hotels, including a seven-star property that cost over $60,000 per night.
When the book dropped in May 2026, Ferguson’s team immediately denied it as “absolute fabricated nonsense,” but Bonds’ comments essentially validated the core narrative.
“I think it’s a notch under his belt. It was power,” Bonds explained, adding that Diddy was obsessed with anything connected to royalty because it represented status and influence.
What makes this worse for Ferguson is her documented history with Jeffrey Epstein.
Released files from 2026 revealed she’d emailed the convicted sex offender while he was serving time, calling him her “supreme friend” and “the brother I have always wished for.”
She publicly condemned pedophilia in 2011 but privately apologized to Epstein, seeking his business advice after his conviction. Multiple charities cut ties with her, and she was stripped of York’s “freedom of the city” over those connections.
Now, her alleged involvement with Diddy has compounded the damage to her already-tarnished reputation.
Diddy himself is currently serving time for his crimes.
The music executive was convicted in July 2025 on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution after a federal jury acquitted him of the more serious racketeering and sex trafficking charges.
Judge Arun Subramanian sentenced him to 50 months in prison on October 3, 2025, along with a $500,000 fine and five years of supervised release.
As of July 23, 2026, the Bureau of Prisons has his projected release date set for February 23, 2028.
