Diddy’s lawyers accuse a former freak-off worker of milking his Mann Act conviction for cash as a July hearing looms.
Diddy’s lawyers say a former freak-off worker is trying to cash in on his prostitution conviction, and they want a judge to slam the door.
Documents obtained by AllHipHop show that Diddy’s legal team pushed back on Clayton Howard’s request to add more briefing to his trafficking lawsuit. They say Howard keeps piling extra material onto a case that his own words already sink.
The attorneys didn’t dance around their read on what Howard is really chasing here. They wrote that he’s “attempting to exploit Mr. Combs’s conviction under the Mann Act for profit,” a conviction that’s currently on appeal.
Diddy’s side also framed Howard as a willing participant instead of a victim caught in a scheme. The filing calls him an admitted sex worker who chose to link up with Diddy and Cassie repeatedly over the years. Diddy already showed he wants a fight, demanding a jury trial earlier this year.
Howard first sued Diddy and Cassie back in July 2025 over their infamous freak-off sessions. He claims the couple pulled him in through an escort agency around 2009 and kept him around for close to a decade.
His allegations against Cassie hit harder than his claims about Diddy in a few spots. Howard says she gave him an STD and got pregnant before ending the pregnancy without ever telling him.
Howard was subpoenaed but never took the stand during Diddy’s criminal trial in Manhattan. He says prosecutors leaned on his cooperation, then blocked him from testifying about Cassie and denied him victim rights.
Diddy is serving 50 months at Fort Dix after a jury convicted him on two prostitution transportation counts. He beat the heavier racketeering and sex trafficking charges that could’ve locked him away for life.
His team is still pursuing freedom, seeking immediate release or resentencing through a federal appeal. His lawyers argued the case before the Second Circuit in April, and the panel still hasn’t ruled. Bureau of Prisons records now list his projected release date as February 23, 2028.
Judge Anne Hwang is set to hear the sur-reply fight on July 15, with Howard’s next move hanging in the balance.
