Lil Wayne just got a major assist in his ongoing legal battle with his former assistant over that alleged private jet incident from 2022.
The rapper’s legal team is now armed with testimony from the pilot who was there when everything went down, and, according to the court documents, this witness completely contradicts the story Andrew Williams has been pushing all this time.
Williams sued Wayne back in 2022, claiming the rapper punched him in the face while they were on a private jet together.
He said he was trying to break up a fight between Wayne and the pilot when things got physical. But here’s where it gets interesting.

According to TMZ, the pilot was recently deposed, and his account of what actually happened doesn’t match Williams’ version at all. The pilot essentially ruined everything Williams claimed went down that day.
Wayne’s legal team is also pointing to something pretty damaging for Williams’ credibility.
After the alleged assault, Williams went to an urgent care facility and the medical staff found no swelling and no significant injuries. They prescribed him ibuprofen, which Williams apparently never even bothered to take.
He then visited multiple other medical providers, and each one found nothing wrong with him.
This is the kind of evidence that makes a jury wonder why someone who claims they got punched in the face by a rapper wearing rings and jewelry would have zero injuries to show for it.
The rapper is now asking the court for permission to depose Williams a second time so he can confront him with all this new information about the pilot’s contradictory testimony and the medical records showing no injuries.
In previous legal filings about this case, Wayne claimed self-defense, but this pilot testimony could be the game-changer his defense team has been waiting for.
