He praised Yamal’s gesture, then pivoted straight to NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s push to enforce an International Criminal Court arrest warrant against Netanyahu.
The rapper’s response was sharp and unfiltered.
“Well, if he ever had to go on the run, he could escape to Argentina with the rest of the loser Nazis,” Mensa said in a video post.
The comparison wasn’t random. It was a direct reference to Netanyahu’s leadership and the mounting international pressure over Gaza.
The backlash against Netanyahu runs deeper than just one mayor’s stance.
According to reporting on the situation, the ICC issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant in 2024, accusing them of war crimes and crimes against humanity.
The death toll in Gaza has reached over 44,000 people according to Palestinian health authorities, with the ICC specifically citing “starvation as a method of warfare, and murder, persecution, and other inhumane acts” as charges.
Mamdani made waves when he said he’d reviewed every legal avenue to execute the warrant if Netanyahu visited New York for the UN General Assembly in September.
Trump immediately shut it down, posting on Truth Social that Netanyahu “will not be arrested, in any way, shape, or form, while in the United States of America.”
Mamdani then clarified that while New York lacked the authority to make an arrest, he was calling on the federal government to do it, calling Netanyahu a “war criminal.”
