LeBron James knows how to dominate the headlines, but this is crazy. The Miami Heat has leaked something that has the internet on fire.
A mysterious livestream titled “LeBron James Introductory Press Conference” suddenly appeared on the Heat’s official YouTube page. But, it disappeared almost as quickly as it surfaced. They were not faster than the internet!
The Miami Heat YouTube channel might have accidentally leaked LeBron signing there… 😳
The video was immediately unlisted and privated.

Screenshots spread across social media at warp speed, fueling speculation that King James is preparing for one more unforgettable chapter in Miami. A lot of people were thinking he’d come to Philly and do something new and interesting. I know Philly wanted him BAD.
The timing could not be more interesting.
LeBron has been one of the biggest free agency storylines of the summer after announcing he would leave the Los Angeles Lakers and explore his options. This is his 24th NBA season! I hope he can walk when he retires.
So was the Heat about to accidentally spoil one of the biggest announcements in recent NBA history?

Miami Herald Heat reporter Anthony Chiang got in the line of fire.
“It was a mistake by the Heat’s social media department while preparing for the possibility of LeBron picking the Heat. But there is no validity to it right now,” Chiang wrote on social media. Yeahhhhhhhhhhh…ok.
The rumor mill will spin continually until they give an official word.
Some believe the livestream was simply a placeholder created in case LeBron signs with Miami. Name a time when an NBA franchise builds full production assets for something not happening. I know somebody is so fired.
Right now, nothing official links LeBron to Miami beyond the speculation. The Heat are among the franchises pursuing him as he weighs where he can best compete for another championship. Charlie Mack, the former bodyguard for Will Smith, begged for LeBron to come to the Sixers. Jamie Foxx reposted this!

LeBron would return to the franchise where he captured back to back championships in 2012 and 2013. Wow. He also collected two league MVP awards. For now, this remains a juicy rumor. Maybe the Heat’s social team simply clicked the wrong button. Tomorrow…?
