Long before the stages, the performances, and the growing fanbase, there was a teenager sitting alone with a microphone, searching for peace.
That teenager would eventually become Lavish2Litt.
Born Daniel Granela and raised in South Jersey, his story isn’t one of overnight success. It’s a story of rebuilding, believing, and refusing to let circumstances define his future.
The name “Lavish” wasn’t created for attention.
It was spoken into existence.
At just 13 years old, Daniel decided he wasn’t going to wait for success to find him. While others dreamed about living lavishly, he made a promise to himself that one day it would become reality.
“I am Lavish.”
Years later, those words still define who he is.
The “2Litt” movement was born alongside his best friend, AK2Litt, after years of creating music together. But what started as a friendship eventually evolved into something much bigger a lifestyle centered around positivity, freedom, confidence, and encouraging people to embrace who they truly are.
That message wasn’t created from comfort.
It was created through adversity.
Daniel grew up navigating obstacles that many young people know all too well. With his father incarcerated during much of his childhood and his mother working tirelessly to provide stability, life demanded maturity at an early age.
Eventually settling in Sicklerville, New Jersey, he found himself surrounded by people from every background imaginable. Every neighborhood, every conversation, every hardship, and every victory quietly became chapters in the story he would one day tell through music.
At 14 years old, writing lyrics became therapy.
By 16, freestyle sessions with friends revealed undeniable talent.
Still, confidence didn’t arrive overnight.
Instead of rushing into music, he spent years creating YouTube content while privately sharpening his abilities behind closed doors. During some of his lowest moments, he found himself recording alone for hours with BandLab, pouring emotions into songs that no one else had heard.
Music became the one place where everything finally made sense.
A simple home studio gift from his cousin changed everything.
Armed with nothing more than a USB microphone, headphones, and relentless determination, Lavish2Litt taught himself how to engineer his own music.
Recording became an obsession. Mixing became an obsession. Mastering became an obsession.
Soon, he wasn’t just making songs.
He was creating entire worlds on his own.
Over the following years, he independently built a catalog of more than 100 records while learning every aspect of being an artist from production and engineering to branding and graphic design.
Then, in an instant, it disappeared.
Copyright strikes wiped away years of work.
For many artists, that moment would’ve ended the dream.
For Lavish2Litt, it revealed who he truly was.
Instead of focusing on what was lost, he focused on what couldn’t be taken away his talent, his discipline, his faith, and his purpose.
He rebuilt.
Stronger.
Wiser.
Hungrier.
Inspired by legends like Tupac, The Notorious B.I.G., Nas, Alicia Keys, and Keyshia Cole while embracing the emotional honesty of YoungBoy Never Broke Again and the SoundCloud era, Lavish2Litt has developed a sound that refuses to fit neatly into one category.
Authenticity remains the common thread throughout everything he creates.
Every recording session, every mix, every master, every piece of artwork, and every business decision reflects an artist determined to own every part of his journey.
Before rebuilding, he had already accumulated more than 11,000 TikTok followers, over 400,000 likes, performed throughout Philadelphia, opened for Kur, earned recognition from industry professionals, and even received a co-sign from DDG.
Yet none of those accomplishments define his mission.
Now just 22 years old, Lavish2Litt is preparing to introduce the next chapter through 2Litt The Album, a collaborative project with AK2Litt featuring 15 to 20 songs built around brotherhood, emotion, versatility, and real-life experiences.
His goal isn’t simply to make hits.
It’s to make people feel understood.
To remind listeners that healing isn’t linear.
That imperfection is human.
And that being different is something to celebrate not hide.
Because while success may be measured in streams by some, Lavish2Litt measures it differently.
By the lives his music touches.
By the people it inspires.
And by the legacy he’s determined to leave behind.
