Kam Patterson: Hell yeah! What you mean? This is my first… I ain’t never did no work before. I ain’t never really been in no movie before this. So I’m excited. I’m elated, you feel me?
AllHipHop: And your first movie is with Kevin Hart. That’s a pretty incredible way to start.
Kam Patterson: That’s my… I would never tell him this to his face, but that’s my guy. I look up to him. He a dude I’ve been watching my whole life. I kind of started doing comedy because of him. So for my first movie to be with Kevin, that means the whole world to me.
It’s crazy, man. You feel me?
AllHipHop: The movie centers around a bachelor party. Have you actually been to one in real life?
Kam Patterson: Yeah, yeah. A couple of them.
AllHipHop: You’re pretty young.
Kam Patterson: I’m 27.
AllHipHop: Oh, okay!
Kam Patterson: I just look young. I’m getting up there. How old are you?
AllHipHop: Don’t worry about it. (Laughs.) So what’s the wildest thing you’ve ever seen happen at a bachelor party?
Kam Patterson: Man… I don’t know if I can talk about that on here. It’s gonna be over. It’s gonna be a short career.
We just went out, had a couple drinks, hung out a little bit. That’s it.
AllHipHop: Nothing too crazy?
Kam Patterson: Nah. Just a regular night out.
AllHipHop: Do you want to get married someday? It seems like younger people aren’t really in a rush anymore.
Kam Patterson: One day. For sure.
All my cousins getting married, and my lady looking at me like, “I think it’s time.” But we’re gonna wait a little bit. One day for sure, though.
AllHipHop: How’s dating life treating you?
Kam Patterson: I got a lady.
I’m a good man. I’m locked up, you feel me?
And I love my lady. If she ever sees this… I love you. Remember I said it.
AllHipHop: Last question. If you only had 72 hours left to live, what would you do?
Kam Patterson: I’m telling my grandma…
…and then I’m gonna do stand-up.

Michael Mando on Leaving Drama (Momentarily) Behind for Comedy
AllHipHop: I’ve got to tell you, I’m a huge fan of Better Call Saul. It’s great seeing you in a comedy instead of playing the bad guy.
Michael Mando: Thank you so much, man.
Well… I’m kind of a bad boy in this one. I hate to break it to you.
But it was fun. I wanted to do a comedy. I was about to do Spider-Man, I had about two weeks off, and they asked if I wanted to do this film. Once I found out the cast and that Tim Story was directing, it was a no-brainer.
I wanted to do a comedy, and this one’s really fun.
AllHipHop: How does this compare with some of the iconic projects you’ve already been part of?
Michael Mando: It’s just different.
This feels like dessert.
It’s colorful and bright and easy and fun. It’s a great cast. Sometimes that’s exactly what you need.
AllHipHop: Have you ever experienced a bachelor party as crazy as the one in the movie?
Michael Mando: Not like this.
No.
AllHipHop: Same question we asked Kam. If you had just 72 hours left to live, what would you do?
Michael Mando: I’d tell the people I love that I love them.
And then I’d make peace with God, I think.
(Pauses and smiles.)
I just realized I got real deep.
AllHipHop: It got deep in the middle of a comedy interview.
Michael Mando: Yeah… but that’s what I’d do.
