Master P and Birdman are turning decades of history, rivalry and Southern Hip-Hop one of the biggest tours of the year.
Master P is putting business over beef, and that may be the smartest move of the year.
In a development that probably seemed impossible to some people a few years ago, the No Limit boss and Cash Money‘s Birdman are officially joining forces for a major tour. If there is one thing both of these Southern moguls understand, it is how to turn nostalgia into revenue.
The upcoming run will feature Master P and Birdman leading the charge with special guest Lil Boosie, bringing together two of the most influential brands Hip-Hop has ever produced. No Limit and Cash Money were once competing empires and they may still be. But now they understand the common cause.

We remember the highly discussed No Limit & Cash Money Verzuz battle. While it was entertaining, it was also tense. Lil Wayne was M.I.A. There were moments when Birdman and P were at odds. But then there was Master P doing what Master P does. The Colonel hit a few dance moves and walked away with a victory. Whether you thought No Limit won musically or not, P definitely won over the audience.

Now, instead of standing across from each other, they’re standing beside each other.
The tour kicks off in Houston on September 11 and wraps up in Cleveland on November 15. The schedule is packed, with several Southern markets getting plenty of love, including Atlanta. East Coast fans may feel a little neglected, but they know where the bread and butter resides.
Old rivalries can become new opportunities. The east coast should take note.
What do you think? Are you pulling up to see Cash Money and No Limit share a stage?
