Nicki Minaj revives a disputed AIDS-era clip as Fauci’s Senate silence fuels another round of MAGA outrage online.
Nicki Minaj renewed her attacks on 85-year-old Dr. Anthony Fauci Friday, weaponizing an old AIDS clip with a vicious and misleading spin.
“Barbz pull up the footage where Fauci Ouchie told ppl they could get AIDS by being in the same room with loved ones. I’m starting to think Fauci is one of the bats from the lab. He’s definitely bat s### crazy & the resemblance is uncanny.”
The clip never shows Fauci saying that merely sharing a room could spread AIDS, despite the claim Nicki delivered to her followers.
His comments reflected a 1983 JAMA article examining unexplained pediatric cases before researchers had identified HIV as the disease’s cause.

That paper presented routine household transmission as an unproven possibility needing investigation, rather than a conclusion about airborne or casual exposure.
Current NIH guidance says HIV requires particular bodily fluids and cannot pass through hugging, surfaces, saliva, sweat, tears or shared air.
Earlier Friday, AllHipHop reported that Nicki wished severe disability upon Fauci while blaming him for disrupted schools, isolated patients and widespread pandemic suffering.
“Feeding tubes will be his portion. He will lose the ability to speak & then & only then will he feel the collective pain & long term ramifications he caused to new borns, young children who are still trying to become acclimated into society & schools.”
Fauci returned to the spotlight after using his constitutional right against self-incrimination on over 100 occasions during a July 29 Senate hearing.
Republican Chairman Rand Paul questioned him about COVID-19’s origins, federally supported research in China and his previous statements before Congress.
Fauci said Paul wanted a prosecutable statement, explaining why his lawyer advised silence despite President Joe Biden’s broad 2025 pardon.
“The only conclusion I can reach is that the sole reason he is calling me before this committee is to get me to say something, anything, that could vindicate his repeated public pledges that I end up, in his words, ‘behind bars.’”
Republicans portrayed his silence as evasion while Democrats alleged entrapment, and Nicki demonized Fauci by recasting an abandoned AIDS hypothesis as proof of dishonesty.
Paul scheduled a committee vote next week that could result in Fauci being held in contempt for his unanswered questions.
