For the past four years, Noah B, better known as The Kool Kid Noah B, has become a recognizable voice across Mid-Michigan as an on-air personality at Power 96.5. While listeners know him for his nightly radio presence, Noah has quietly been building something much bigger—a multimedia platform dedicated to authentic storytelling, meaningful conversations, and creating opportunities for independent artists and entrepreneurs.
At the center of that vision is Feature Friday, Noah’s signature weekly interview series that has evolved into one of his proudest career accomplishments. What began as a simple idea has grown into a respected platform where artists, entrepreneurs, and creators from diverse backgrounds share their journeys in honest, engaging conversations.
“My goal has never been just to ask questions,” says Noah. “I want every interview to feel like two people having a real conversation. When people trust you enough to share their story, that’s something you never take for granted.”
Long before stepping behind a microphone in radio, Noah immersed himself in nearly every aspect of music. He produced beats, recorded local artists, DJed events, and spent years learning the creative process from the ground up. That hands-on experience eventually led him into broadcasting, where he discovered a passion for interviewing artists and helping others tell their stories.
His motivation has always been bigger than personal success.
“I’ve always enjoyed creating opportunities—not only for myself but for other people,” Noah explains. “There are so many talented artists who simply need someone willing to give them a platform.”
That philosophy continues to shape his daily work. Behind every interview is hours of preparation, guest research, scheduling, editing, branding, promotional planning, and networking. Noah believes preparation is what transforms interviews from scripted Q&A sessions into authentic conversations that resonate with audiences.
Noah’s journey hasn’t been without challenges. While balancing a demanding radio career, school, family responsibilities, and fatherhood, he has learned that consistency isn’t about having more time—it’s about making the most of the time available.
“As a father, time is one of my most valuable resources,” he says. “I’ve learned that staying disciplined and showing up every week matters more than waiting for the perfect moment.”
His commitment to consistency has become one of the defining traits of both his career and his growing personal brand.
Looking at today’s music industry, Noah believes artists have more control over their careers than ever before. However, he emphasizes that access alone doesn’t guarantee success.
“Everyone has access now,” he says. “That means consistency, branding, and authenticity are more important than they’ve ever been.”
He also believes many people overlook one of the industry’s most valuable assets: genuine relationships.
“Everyone is chasing numbers, but relationships still open more doors than algorithms ever will. People remember how you treated them long after they forget your follower count.”
For aspiring artists and media professionals, Noah’s advice is simple: master your craft, remain consistent, and always conduct yourself professionally. While talent may open the first door, reliability and reputation are what keep opportunities coming.
Much of Noah’s success, he says, stems from staying coachable, treating people with respect, and continuously learning. Strong relationships and a dependable support system have kept him grounded while encouraging him to keep growing.
Today, Noah is focused on expanding both Feature Friday and Intrusive Thoughts TV, his multimedia platform that aims to bridge traditional radio, digital media, and independent creators. Season 2 will introduce full-length video interviews, enhanced production quality, behind-the-scenes content, larger guests, and an even greater emphasis on long-form storytelling.
Looking ahead, Noah envisions Intrusive Thoughts TV becoming a nationally respected media platform known for substance over sensationalism—one that gives artists, entrepreneurs, and creators a space to tell stories that truly matter. His long-term goal is to work with nationally recognized talent while continuing to spotlight emerging voices that deserve to be heard.
“I want to build something that lasts beyond radio,” Noah says. “I want people to know Intrusive Thoughts TV as a place where authentic conversations happen and where creators feel seen.”
